The holiday area of Kemer stretches over 60 km southwest of the city of Antalya in the south of Turkey, along a narrow coastal strip between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. In addition to the city of Kemer, it also includes the holiday resorts of Beldibi, Göynük, Kiris, Camyuva, Tekirova, and Çiralı. Beldibi is now administratively part of the city of Antalya. In the province of Antalya, alongside Kemer, are the holiday regions of Belek, Side, and Alanya, as well as the city of Antalya itself, with numerous hotels along the beach of Lara. Antalya Airport has been expanded several times in recent years to cope with the growing traffic. From Germany, it takes about three hours to fly to Antalya.
